Samuel offers a distinctive perspective shaped by extensive experience in auditing, transaction due diligence, and as a nominated adviser.

Samuel enjoys engaging with clients and advisors on diverse and thought-provoking current topics which extend into the financial sector in which all companies and shareholders are impacted in addition to sector specific talking points.

Samuel specialises in financial advice for all transactional services. He has extensive experience in Equity Capital Markets working as reporting accountant, and has previously worked as a nominated and corporate advisor to the London Stock Exchange and Aquis Stock Exchange, providing insight into the meticulous City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.

Samuel’s role extends into private financial transactions and includes working on private financial and/or vender due diligence for companies and private equity, alongside transaction support, share and alternative valuations, as well as financial modelling.

Prior to joining HaysMac, Samuel was a Manager in the Equity Capital Markets and Public Company Advisory team in Grant Thornton for several years where he trained. Prior to the move into Corporate Finance, Samuel worked for several years in external commercial audit as an Audit Manager.

Samuel is the Chair of the Future Gen committee which aims to foster networking, personal brand development, and leadership growth among mid-level professionals across all corporates in the City of London and beyond.

In his spare time, Samuel enjoys heading to the snowy mountains to practice and share his love of snowboarding. He qualified as an NZSIA Level Two snowboard instructor in Japan in 2024. When the snow isn’t falling, you can find him tuning his weak padel skills, equally weak cooking skills and catching up with old colleagues at an independent pub showing a premier league match.
