Phil is dedicated to making personal tax a simpler and more efficient process for his clients.
Phil specialises in advising entrepreneurs, business owners and management teams, supporting his clients through all stages of the business lifecycle, from initial structuring and growth to eventual disposals. He prides himself on taking the time to understand his clients’ business, their plans and the transaction itself, enabling him to provide proactive advice throughout and ensure all personal tax implications are fully considered and aligned with his clients’ objectives.
He advises on broader tax planning opportunities following a transactional event, including estate planning. Phil also works with sports individuals and entertainers, advising on their global endorsements and sponsorship contracts and providing commercially driven, tax‑efficient solutions.
Prior to joining HaysMac in 2026, Phil spent over a decade as part of the Private Client team at a top 20 firm.
Outside of work, Phil enjoys the outdoors, hiking, travelling and cooking. He is a keen golfer and still occasionally plays cricket for his local village team.
