Stephen Mason

Stephen has been a dedicated financial due diligence specialist, based in London, for the last 27 years.

From initial red-flag assessments to the financial aspects of Sale and Purchase Agreements and Completion Accounts, Stephen brings extensive experience in buy- and sell-side due diligence for private equity and corporate clients, as well as in supporting financing transactions. He has particular expertise across the Leisure & Hospitality, Retail, Consumer, Real Estate, Media and Technology sectors.

Prior to joining HaysMac, Stephen was a TS partner in a top 10 firm for 17 years and before that he spent nine years in a ‘Big 4′ TS practice. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in audit. Stephen also enjoys providing training in due-diligence and transactions related topics to external intermediaries and clients’ teams.

In his spare time, Stephen enjoys countryside walks and pubs, cooking and eating out.
